.It’s like… you are flying over so much pain and terror… and you know you can never look down. You have to look forward, or you’ll never get home. I ask you, what could be braver than that?

One day we’ll be in a Marvel movie, sitting there as something doesn’t feel right. and as the credits start to roll we’ll know what it is. It will flash up on screen and our hearts will break. “In loving memory of Stan Lee”. There was no cameo in that movie. And there never will be again.

This is the first song on Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “The Heist,” which opens the rest of the album at the end. However, this song is probably one of my favourite songs on this album, because this is Macklemore’s life he’s talking about, his struggle that he’s gone through, and his feelings. I feel this is a really raw track, the end gets especially real, and it really gives way to how the rest of the album was even made.
